Large Dewlap Toulouse :
The Large Dewlap Toulouse is one the most imposing breeds of geese.They were first bred in southern France (near the city of Toulouse) and is considered a superior meat bird in Europe.They often weigh up to 30 pounds and have deep keels and a large dewlap. Despite their large size, however, they are very gentle and docile. They prefer remaining quiet and move about in a very stately manner.They lay about 35 per season first layers lay about 10 per season.

African :
The African Goose should be of about the same size and height as the Embden Goose .An African goose is descended from the wild China Swan Goose of China.Why they received the name African is unknown. The only explanation is that it was customary in earlier times to give newly introduced or developed breeds of poultry exotic names.The common African goose is intermediate in size between the Super African and Brown Chinese.These geese can weigh up to 28pounds and they lay up to 20 eggs a season. They are a lean goose and moderate layer.

Rouens and Cayuga's :
Rouens were originally bred in France and retain the coloring of the native Mallard with drakes having green heads, white collars, claret breast and a blue patch on the wing. They are second to only Pekins and Muscovy in size and are said to have the most flavorful meat. They are moderate layers with many of their eggs being greenish in color.
The Cayuga breed is thought to have been developed from ducks in the region of Lake Cayuga in New York. It is a hardy, yet quiet breed.They weigh up to 9 pounds and are a good duck for eggs,Meat,Broody and a good utility duck.As the birds age, they grow more and more white feathers throughout their body (just as we humans grey with age!).
